And it all starts with self-care.
Let’s get clear on exactly what self-care is – It the intentional and purposeful action you take to support yourself body, mind and soul.
Yes it can be a mani-pedi or massage or retail therapy BUT I’m talking about really giving YOU what YOU need to function on a whole nuther level. And I gotta say more than taking the action, self care must be in your identity – you are the Boss Babe, Mom, Coach, Entrepreneur, Woman who believes in her soul she deserves self care. It is essential not a luxury. We’ll chat more on this, a lot more, in the mean time – believe you need, deserve and are worthy of self care and make it a priority, please♥ But now, Lord, you are our Father. Start a night time routine, yep – it’s that simple. We all know how vital a good morning routine is to productivity and focus, a night time one is just as essential. If we don’t get enough sleep, focus and productivity become much more elusive, right?
Simple night time routine:
  • Start powering down 2 hours before bed time
  • Let me repeat – put down the phone, close the laptop – no blue light
  • Take a hot shower or bath
  • Wash your face
  • Drink a cup of hot tea
  • When you crawl in bed, meditate or read a book or practice some deep breathing or yoga nidra
  • Write in a gratitude journal
  • Let go of the day and welcome in sleep
All of these things start signaling to your body and brain that you are ready for sleep.
